Statutory Accounts & Tax Returns
Limited Companies and LLP’s are required to prepare annual accounts and submit them to Companies House in a statutory format.
These accounts are also required by HMRC along with a corporation tax return.
The Self Employed, Sole Traders, and Partnerships are required to submit accounts to HMRC annually in the form of a self assessment.
The annual accounts not only meet statutory requirements, but the information included in them can be used to further understand the financial performance of the business, and allows for further analysis on the operations to make the best decisions to plan and grow your business.
Failing to submit these on time incurs fines, penalties and for incorporated companies, risks your company being struck off of the Companies House register.
